NagaCorp is set to open Russian casino in 2018
The Hong-Kong company said that the construction of the upcoming Vladivostok casino is on schedule.
Russia.- According to the director Primorsky Region’s Development Corporation, NagaCorp’s Russian casino is set to open in 2018. The company’s chairman had announced last year that it took them some time to work through the standard local building requirements.
Andrei Folomeev, director of NagaCorp, said: “They embarked on the construction a year ago, however, ancient graves were discovered at that plot of land and had to be carefully extracted, processed and transferred to storage. Naturally, this affected the timing, but in 2018, the complex will open.” The facility will be the second one to open in the Russian gaming zone after Tigre de Cristal opened its doors to the public in 2015.
The first phase of the facility is set to include an 11-story hotel complex with a US$70 million casino. The venue that will feature 279 rooms also includes a 2000 seat concert hall, as well as 300 slot machines and 30 gaming tables. The final phase of the Russian casino is expected to be completed by 2021.
