Mohegan Sun names Kimberly Simone as VP of sales and marketing
Simone will oversee strategic initiatives for Mohegan Sun venues.
US.- Mohegan Sun in Connecticut has appointed Kimberly Simone as VP of sales and marketing. In her new role, she will oversee strategic initiatives for the Earth Expo & Convention Center, the Sky Convention Center and other venues at Mohegan Sun and the Mohegan Sun Golf Club.
Simone joined Mohegan Sun in 2023 as director of sales and has played a key role in driving growth in convention sales and hospitality. In her new role, she will continue to lead Mohegan Sun’s Convention sales team.
Previously, she served as director of sales at Saybrook Point Resort and Marina in Old Saybrook, and as director of resort sales at Foxwoods Casino Resort from 2019 to 2021. Simone also served as vice president of membership and vice president of marketing and communications of the board for the CT River Valley chapter of Meeting Professionals International (MPI).
She was also a member of the New York and New England chapters of Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) and served as a member of the Greater New York Chapter of Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International. Simone sits on the executive committee of the Connecticut Convention and Sports Bureau board of directors.

Mohegan Sun is an entertainment, gaming, dining and shopping complex located on 185 acres along the Thames River in Southeastern Connecticut. It has two casinos, 1,600 hotel rooms, two spas, two convention centres and a golf course.
