US.- Missouri casinos generated $153.7m in adjusted gross revenue in January, an increase of 5.7 per cent compared to January 2022. According to the report from the Missouri Gaming Commission (MGC), ten of the state’s 13 casinos saw their revenue increase year-on-year.

Bally’s KC, Argosey, Horseshoe St. Louis, and River City accounted for 75 per cent of the revenue growth. Revenue at Ameristar SC and Hollywood Casino St. Louis remained level year-on-year while Century Casino Cape Birardeau saw revenue fall 5 per cent to $5.3m.

Sports betting remains illegal in Missouri. Last year, Governor Mike Parson said he believed it would be a big topic in the 2023 legislative session but was noncommittal on its chances.
