Mississippi Lottery transfers $11.2m to state from October net proceeds

The Mississippi Lottery Corporation has completed its October 2021 transfer to the state.

US.- The Mississippi Lottery Corporation (MLC), the lottery authorised by the Alyce G. Clarke Mississippi Lottery Law in 2018, has transferred $11.2m in net proceeds to the Lottery Proceeds Fund at the Mississippi State Treasury. October’s figure is equal to that transferred in September. Fiscal Year 2022 net proceeds total approximately $44.35m to date.

Under the Alyce G. Clarke Lottery Law, the MLC is required to transfer net proceeds within 20 days following the close of each calendar month. 

Earlier this year, the Mississippi Lottery Corporation appointed Jeffrey L. Hewitt, former senior vice president of sales and marketing, as president.
