Mississippi grants sports betting licence

Boyd Gaming has obtained its licence to operate sports betting in Mississippi.

US.- Boyd Gaming Corporation last week announced that it opened sportsbooks at its two Mississippi properties: IP Casino Resort and Spa in Biloxi and Sam’s Town Tunica Hotel & Gambling Hall, following the receipt of final approval from the Mississippi Gaming Commission.

The sports betting operations are Boyd Gaming’s first sportsbooks outside of the state of Nevada. Boyd Gaming currently operates 10 sportsbooks at its properties across southern Nevada.
