Mississippi casinos post highest ever June revenue
According to the Mississippi Gaming Commission, gross gaming revenue in June reached $2.47m, up 23 per cent compared to the same month in 2019.
US.- Casinos in Mississippi continue to break pre-pandemic records, seeing their highest June gross gaming revenue ever reported.
According to the state Gaming Commission. the state’s casinos reported $2.47m in gross gaming revenue in June, just ahead of May’s total. In June 2019, gross gaming revenue was $2.2 billion.
With the Gulf Coast leading the surge, Mississippi casinos are on pace to have the highest gross gaming revenue this year since they began operating in the 1990s.
GGR for the first half of the year is running at 23 per cent higher than in 2019. Mississippi casinos reported $1.8bn in gross gaming revenue in 2020, but were forced to close for two months.
