Michigan Gaming Control Board updates responsible gaming site

The regulator’s website features additional tools, educational content and support resources.

US.- The Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) has announced the launch of an updated website to coincide with Problem Gambling Awareness Month. The updated Don’t Regret the Bet site features additional tools, educational content and support resources.

New sections focus on how to recognise the signs of problem gambling, understand risk factors, access confidential help services and support loved ones. There’s also a greater focus on young people.

Owned and operated by MGCB, Don’t Regret the Bet was created to raise awareness about responsible gaming and provide access to support. It provides data, prevention tools and conversation guides and features direct links to confidential support services, including the Michigan Problem Gambling Helpline.

“The website refresh reflects the Board’s continued commitment to public education and player protection as gaming options expand across the state,” the regulator said.

Henry Williams, executive director of the Michigan Gaming Control Board, said: “Responsible gaming starts with awareness and access to reliable information. By expanding our website, we are making it easier for Michiganders to understand the risks associated with gambling and to connect with help if they need it.”
