MGM National Harbor is the top scorer
The latest casino to open in the Old Line State has become once again the top gambling facility in May.
US.- The Maryland Lottery and Gaming announced on Monday that MGM National Harbor is once again the casino with the best results in the state. Whilst it generated more than US$59 million for the second month in a row, the state experienced a revenue drop.
MGM’s newest casino generated US$50.5 million from slot machines and table games, whilst Maryland Live Casino registered US$45.8 million. Horseshoe Casino totaled US$23 million, and the Hollywood Casino Perryville managed to get the fourth position with US$6.3 million. Maryland’s six casinos totaled US$136.5 million in May.
Last month’s top scorer Live Casino & Hotel experienced a 22.3 percent revenue drop last month. The facility will inaugurate its first hotel level by 2018, and it will become one of the most profitable gaming centers of the state and the operators recently announced this year’s plan of expansion for the exclusive venue, which has already started.
