MBGS returns as Europe’s first live event

MARE BALTICUM Gaming Summit 2020 will be the third annual Baltic conference and the first live event post-Covid-19.

Estonia.- MARE BALTICUM Gaming Summit, the Baltic and Nordic region’s largest betting and gaming industry conference, has been announced as Europe’s first post-lockdown live event.

With the majority of EU and EEA member states now able to travel to Estonia restriction free, the summit will take place in Estonia on August 6 at the Radisson Blu Hotel Olümpia Tallinn, starting 9:00 am.

Building on last year’s hugely successful iteration in Vilnius, Lithuania, this year’s lineup is set to bring together the region’s key stakeholders with the Baltic’s regulatory authorities in a day of panel discussions, roundtables and networking.

With the return of sports betting, industry innovation and payments hot on the agenda, the day’s speaking tracks will be joined by representatives from the region’s tier one suppliers and operators, including Kaido Ulejev (Commercial Director CEECA at Betsson Group), Nadiya Attard (Director of Sales at Relax Gaming) and Robert Dowling (Chief Commercial Officer at Singular).

The conference’s compliance contingent will be represented by delegates from the Lithuanian and Estonian Ministries of Finance, Latvia’s Lotteries and Gambling Supervisory Inspectorate and Nordic Gambling, who will be updating on the latest in regional developments.

As in 2019, the day’s agenda will be capped by the inaugural Baltic and Scandinavian Gaming Awards (BSG Awards) ceremony, honouring high-flyers in the Baltics and Nordics. In recognition of the participation of the event’s delegates, winners will be announced from a vote drawn over the day from the summit’s attendees.

Commenting on the return of live industry events, Zoltan Tuendik, Co-Founder and Head of Business at Hipther Agency said: “We’re delighted to again bring together industry stakeholders from across the Baltic and Scandinavian region to set the agenda for the year ahead.

“The MARE BALTICUM summit has firmly established itself as one of the Baltic region’s most informative events – and we’ve gone the extra mile to make sure we have a great environment for all.”

With venues in Estonia now able to operate at 50% of their standard capacity, the team has nevertheless limited the conference to 80 delegates to make it comfortable for all those taking part.
