Massachusetts gaming revenue rises in October

Revenue increased 1.2 per cent from September.

US.- The Massachusetts Gaming Commission (MGC) has reported that Plainridge Park Casino (PPC), MGM Springfield (MGM) and Encore Boston Harbor (EBH) generated $96.88m in gross gaming revenue (GGR) in October, up 1.2 per cent from September 2025.

Encore Boston Harbor took $57.6m in GGR, with $20.8m from table games and $36.8m from slots. MGM Springfield generated $24m, with $4.3m from table games and $19.8m from slots. Plainridge Park Casino took $15.2m from slots. Tax collected was $27.9m.

The seven online sports wagering licensees and the three in-person licensees generated $71.3m in taxable sports wagering revenue (TSWR): online licensees $70.7m and retail licensees $598.901.

To date, the Commonwealth has collected $353.38m in total taxes and assessments from since sports wagering began in person on January 31, 2023, and online on March 10, 2023.
