Massachusetts Gaming revenue decreases in April
Plainridge Park Casino, MGM Springfield and Encore Boston Harbor generated $102.1m in gross gaming revenue.
US.- The Massachusetts Gaming Commission has reported that the Plainridge Park Casino, MGM Springfield and Encore Boston Harbor generated $102.1m in gross gaming revenue (GGR) in April. That’s down 2.9 per cent from March.
Encore Boston Harbor, Massachusetts largest casino, reported $63.4m in GGR: $26.9m from table games and $36.5m from slots. MGM Springfield generated $23.5m ($4m from table games and $19.4m from slots) and Plainridge Park Casino $15.1m from slots.
Taxable sports wagering revenue (TSWR) was $65.94m across seven mobile/online sports wagering licensees and three in-person licensees.
To date, the Commonwealth has collected approximately $2.074bn in taxes and assessments from casino operations since the openings of each gaming facility.
