Mark Hutchinson will feature at BiG Africa

The event will take place from 24 to 26 October at the Century City Conference Centre and Hotel in Cape Town, South Africa.

(Press release).- Renowned Gaming Industry veteran Mark Hutchinson (‘Hutch’) will feature on the BiG Africa speaker panel. Often described as a ‘rock star’ of the lottery industry, he brings with him over 30 years of success around the globe in all segments of gaming, telecommunications, and television industries. He currently resides in the US and is President of Gaming Solutions International.

At BiG Africa Hutch will discuss how Lottery is merging with Tech Gaming and the opportunities of expansion this brings to the industry. If technology is the enabler, is now not the time for the two gaming segments (casino and lottery) to finally merge? A fascinating topic delivered and discussed by the foremost expert who believes that technology, content and expertise is merging to create the next level gaming model.

Hutch is of course no stranger to South Africa, having created and started up Games Africa, Ithuba Games in 1992, which was sold via the Post Office, Pick n Pay and numerous cafes. Amongst others he created two television game shows in South Africa, being Win n Spin and Zama Zama, which were the two top television game shows in South Africa for over six years. Both were developed to drive ticket sales.

Hutch has worked with major lottery industry suppliers, with countries across Europe, South America and Africa starting up new lottery markets. He has helped create and get produced world class television game shows to drive sales and awareness in the gaming vertical.
