Macau selects lottery operators
Macau’s official lottery will be provided again by a national gaming company.
Macau.- The legal lottery sector in Macau will be operated once again by the national gaming company Sociedade de Lotarias Wing Hing Limitada. The lottery provider will be in charge of the official industry throughout the year.
Sociedade de Lotarias Wing Hing Limitada has reached the renewal of the contract with the local government to operate the sector until December 31,, 2017. The company has been selected by Macau’s authorities since 1990.
The upgraded monopoly was confirmed this week by the local media. The lottery sector in Macau, always operated by Sociedade de Lotarias Wing Hing Limitada, has reported stable results for years. The total operations in 2016 generated US$877.047 flat year-on-year compared to 2015.
