LeoVegas to open new UK office
The MGM Resorts-owned online gambling operator’s second UK office will be in Leeds.
UK.- LeoVegas Group, the Swedish online gambling operator acquired by MGM Resorts back in 2022, is to open a second UK office. The new location in the centre of Leeds, West Yorkshire, is intended to support the development of the BetMGM and LeoVegas brands in the competitive UK market.
The operator opened its UK headquarters in Newcastle in 2018. That office will continue to operate. The new location will see the refurbishment of the entire ground and lower ground floors of the historic seven-floor Grade A building Tailor’s Corner at 1 Thirsk Row. Covering 5,000 sq. ft (over 400 m²), the space is currently being renovated.

Gethin Evans, managing director UK and Ireland at LeoVegas Group, said, “We’re looking forward to moving into our new Leeds office shortly. It’s an important step towards our key goal to continue building the strength of our hero brands in the UK, BetMGM and LeoVegas, by attracting top talent. Leeds will support our main office in Newcastle, which will continue to remain the UK heart of LeoVegas Group.”
LeoVegas Group has started recruitment plans to fill the new offices, with several roles already live, including a senior UK sports director, senior finance business partner and legal counsel position. The company emphasised the growth of Leeds as a centre for digital innovation, attracting several players in the igaming and sports betting sector.
