Las Vegas visits increase in March

The city received 3.45 million people, up 1.9 per cent year-over-year.

US.- The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) has reported that 3.45 million people visited Las Vegas in March. That’s a 1.9 per cent year-over-year rise and surpasses the February figure of 3.03 million.

According to the report, hotel occupancy was 84.8 per cent, up 1.9 points. The average daily rate (ADR) was $206.7, an increase of 12.4 per cent year-over-year. Weekend occupancy was 93.3 per cent, up 2.5 points, while midweek occupancy was 81.9 per cent, an increase of 2.2 points. Strip occupancy was 87.4 per cent, up 1.6 points.

Convention attendance increased 33.4 per cent to 712,000, supported by NASCAR Pennzoil 400, college basketball conference tournaments, March Madness and the return of the triennial CONEXPO tradeshow.

In the first quarter of the year, Las Vegas saw a 0.4 per cent increase in visitation to 9.74 million. The convention segment attracted nearly 2 million attendees, an increase of 12.3 per cent. In 2025, Las Vegas received 38.5 million visitors, down 7.5 per cent year-over-year. Hotel occupancy was 80.3 per cent, down 3.3 points.

In March, the National Football League (NFL) announced that Las Vegas will host Super Bowl LXIII in 2029. The event in 2024 attracted 330,000 visitors and generated more than $1bn in economic impact.
