Las Vegas Sands appoints Patrick Dumont as chairman and CEO
Dumont will succeed Robert Goldstein, who becomes a senior advisor.
US.- Las Vegas Sands has named Patrick Dumont as the company’s chairman and chief executive officer, effective March 1. He will succeed Robert G. Goldstein, who will become a senior advisor until March 2028.
The company’s board of directors previously said Dumont would be the likely successor. He has also been appointed as chairman of Sands China.
Dumont was named president and chief operating officer of Sands in January 2021 and has been a board member since 2017. He joined the company in 2010.

The company stated that under Dumont’s leadership, it has undertaken transformative investment programmes in Macao and Singapore to improve product offerings, enhance customer experience and increase long-term earnings potential.
Dumont said: “It is a true honor for me to serve as chairman and CEO of this iconic company founded by one of the industry’s greatest visionaries.
