Las Vegas’ Palace Station launches revamped business
The Station Casinos’ property has just opened after undergoing a US$192 million modernisation that began in 2016.
US.- A historic Las Vegas venue has finished a modernisation plan that began two years ago and opened with a fully renewed offering. The US$192 million revamp project includes work on the casino floor and hotel rooms, new restaurants and other amenities.
The historic casino resort began operating back in 1976 and is one of many iconic venues in the area. However, parent company Station Casinos decided to overhaul the entire casino floor and other features in its business to renew its image and give it a new era look.
The company revamped the casino floor, guest rooms and suites (with TVs, new lighting and renewed bathrooms) completely. Furthermore, several restaurants were opened in the complex to diversify the gastronomic offering, while a resort-style pool area and a nine-screen movieplex (to be opened in December) were added to the property.
In the year of sports betting-mania in the US, Station Casinos also added a new sports bar and a new bingo room. In addition, the poker room was upgraded, following the addition of table games, slot and video poker machines being added to the casino floor as well.
