Larnaca airport to feature two casinos
The two facilities are expected to be ready and operational by the end of the third and fourth quarter of the year.
Cyprus.- Hermes Airports and Integrated Casino Resorts Cyprus (ICR Cyprus) announced on Friday that they signed a two-year commercial contract with a renewal option to feature a satellite casino in two locations within the terminal building at Larnaca airport.
The announcement revealed that the casino located in the departures section is expected to be ready and operational sometime in the next three months, while the one located in the arrivals part of the airport is scheduled to be done and running by the end of the year.
The casino is set to have 50 slot machines, still unknown the number that each facility will feature. Though no gaming tables will be offered to players, it will be open 24/7 with the same schedule as the airport.
This location will be the third temporary casino in Limassol, as one has been open since June 28th and another is coming to Nicosia in the upcoming months. The facility located in Zakaki features 33 tables and 242 slot machines, a VIP gaming area and food and retail options.
