Landing continues to look for its chairman
The casino resort investor has been unable to reach chairman Yang Zhihui since August 23 and still doesn’t know where he is.
China.- Last August 23rd, casino resort investor Landing International Development Ltd contacted chairman Yang Zhihui for the last time. Since then the company has been “unable to contact or reach” him and remains uncertain as to what happened to the company’s official.
“There is still no update on Mr Yang’s whereabouts,” a Landing International spokesperson told GGRAsia on Monday.
The company had been quite active before Mr Yang disappeared as it recently opened its foreigner-only casino on Jeju Island, the Jeju Shinhwa World resort. Furthermore, it is looking forward to developing another casino resort in Manila, Philippines, for which it still needs to resolve an issue regarding a land lease contract for the lot where the venue would be built.
Mr Yang owns 50.48% of the share capital of Landing International and it’s unclear whether he’ll return, as it was suggested in an August filing where the company gave no reasoning or its assertion that his absence would be temporary.
Ever since August 21, the company has lost 52% of its value and continues to be on a shaky path as it continues to be uncertain about its chairman’s whereabouts.
