Ladbrokes became FA’s official betting partner
The operator is the new official betting partner of the Football Association, a deal which covers both the England men’s national team and the Emirates FA Cup.
UK.- Ladbrokes has been confirmed as the official betting partner of the Football Association. The betting operator will take over from William Hill, which was FA’s official betting partner since 2012.
The partnership covers both the England men’s national team and the Emirates FA Cup. The long term deal begins on August 1 and includes in-stadia betting rights for Wembley Stadium, which has a capacity of 90,000 people.
Kristof Fahy, Ladbrokes CMO used to work for William Hill, when he was appointed by Ladbrokes back in February he managed to close the same deal when he was CMO of William Hill.
“As official partner, we want to be much more than a company which hands over a cheque, sits back and hopes for the best,” Said Fahy. “As the best known brand in bookmaking, we have the passion and drive to ensure our customers and football fans alike can immerse themselves in all that makes English football so brilliant.”
