Kenya may authorise further gaming brand
Emphasis Service Limited (ESL) is interested in landing in Kenya’s gaming market.
Kenya.- The sports betting company Emphasis Service Limited (ESL), operator of Dafabet platform, has shown interest in joining the emergent Kenyan gaming market. The company would be landing for the first time in Africa, after its success activity in the UK, Ireland, Curacao, Isle of Man and the Philippines.
“It is a matter of months or probably days before they land in Kenya. They are really interested in the Kenyan market,” revealed an anonymous Dafabet source to the local press. The company would compete with 23 licensed operators of the industry in Kenya, including Sportspesa, Betway, Betin and mCheza.
The Philippine-based gaming brand is already sponsor of English Premier League clubs Sunderland, Burnley and English Championship side, Blackburn Rovers as well as Glasgow-based Scottish Premier League side Celtic FC.
