Kansas Crossing to open on April 8
The US$70 million facility will hold its grand opening next month.
US.- The upcoming Southeast Kansas casino, Kansas Cossing Casino and Hotel, announced that it will open its doors to the public on April 8. The construction of the facility that was supposed to open this month faced several challenges along the way since it first started in 2015.
The first day of activity will feature the grand opening of the casino floor along with two restaurants. Furthermore, the casino will offer a concert at The Coral, even if the act hasn’t been announced yet. The casino floor presents more than 625 slot machines, 16 game tables and a 120-room Hampton Inn and Suites complex. General manager of the casino Doug Fisher said in a statement that they’re very excited about the project. “We can’t wait to open our doors to our neighbors in Southeast Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma. The wait is almost over.”
Back in January, the state Supreme Court scheduled a hearing with the intention of discussing a lawsuit that involves the upcoming casino which was being sued by the Cherokee County Commission and Castle Rock Casino after the former was granted the fourth and final license in June 2015.
