Isle Casino Pompano Park to be renamed Harrah’s Pompano Beach
Caesars Entertainment will expand and rebrand the Florida casino.
US.- Caesars Entertainment and its development partner The Cordish Companies have announced they will rebrand Isle Casino Racing Pompano Park in Florida as Harrah’s Pompano Beach by autumn this year. The casino joined the Caesars family in 2020. An expansion is underway.
At a groundbreaking event attended by local politicians and Isle Casino employees, Caesars CEO Tom Reeg said: “Harrah’s is a promise of you’re going to be treated like family, whether you’re a customer, an employee or someone in the community.”
“We don’t throw that name around lightly,” Reeg added according to the South Florida Sun Sentinel. “It was a lot of discussion into what shall we call this, and [Isle Casino] was obviously a Harrah’s to us.”
Besides the rebranding, Caesars and Cordish plan a two-phase expansion project that will include a 15,000-square-foot casino expansion; a 580,000-square-foot, four-level parking garage connected to the casino to add more than 1,500 parking spaces and a “gaming terrace” that will add 12,500 square feet of outdoor gaming.
While the casino will operate under the Harrah’s brand, various elements built by Cordish will be run under its LIVE! Resorts Pompano brand.
David Cordish, founder and CEO of The Cordish Companies, said: “With Harrah’s Pompano Beach at its heart, Live! Resorts Pompano will bring together casino gaming with best-in-class entertainment, retail, dining, hotel, residential, office, logistics and lifestyle amenities into one dynamic destination.”
