US.- Sportsbook revenue in Iowa dropped by a massive 87.2 per cent in April due to the impact of Covid-19.
The Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission (IRGC) revealed that revenue for the month dropped to US$150,331, with amounts wagered falling to US$1.6million.
Casinos in Iowa have been shut down since March 17 following the closure order from Gov. Kim Reynolds.
Last week, it was suggested that popular Iowa racetrack and casino, Prairie Meadows, may not reopen this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
