Iowa sports betting revenue falls again in July
Iowa’s sportsbooks took less than $88.9m in wagers in a fourth month of decline.
US.- Iowa’s sportsbooks took less than $88,9m in wagers in the second July with sports betting in the state. It marks the fourth consecutive monthly decrease.
It was the first time sports betting revenues dipped below the $100m mark since November, according to the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission.
Brian Ohorilko, commission administrator said: “We expected to see a decline this month in numbers; however, we were unsure how much.

“I have heard from a few operators in our state and have read in a few national industry publications that wagering is less than expected on the Olympics”.
