Indiana sports betting continues to grow in October

US.- Sports betting in Indiana continued to grow in October, breaking the previous month’s figures as well as topping the same period last year.
The state’s handle reached $230.9m, beating September’s $207.5m and rising by 151.8 per cent from October 2019.
The majority of bets ($193m) were placed online, but retail sports betting still generated $37.9m despite Covid-19 restrictions.
Football took the highest amount of wagers, raking in $84.7m.
The DraftKings sportsbook at Penn National Gaming’s Ameristar Casino saw the biggest handle at $97.5m.
