Indiana gaming revenue hits $217.7m in September
The Indiana Gaming Commission has released last month’s figures.
US.- The Indiana Gaming Commission has reported that September’s casino win was $176.7m while the sports betting handle reached $404.1m, up 69.8 per cent. Revenue from all gaming sources was $217.7m. Revenue from poker, slots and table games fell 5.5 per cent compared to the same month in 2022.
The top casinos by win were: Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana (Gary): $34.2m; Horseshoe Indianapolis: $27.3m; Horseshoe Hammond: $24.7m; Harrah’s Hoosier Park (Anderson): $18.3m; Caesars Southern Indiana (Elizabeth): $18.2m.
Of the sports betting handle, mobile apps accounted for $389.3m, more than 96 per cent of the total. September’s sports betting revenue (taxable AGR) was just over $41m, an increase of 74.5 per cent from August (almost $23.54m).
