iGaming Legacy Awards to debut at SiGMA Startup Pitch competition 2025

The iGaming Legacy Awards team will be live at the Startup Village at SiGMA Euro-Med this September.

Press release.- The iGaming Legacy Awards, a purpose-driven platform recognising impact-driven leadership in the gaming sector, is proud to announce its official participation in the SiGMA Startup Pitch Competition 2025.

Founded by Sarah Micallef, the initiative was created to celebrate the people and projects building more than just business — those creating real legacy, positive change, and social value within the global igaming industry.

In its early stages, the initiative has secured powerful collaborations and supporters:

•  Main Media Partner – Focus Gaming News

• Creative Collaboration Partner – Pyaza, led by Mark Grech

•  Proud Community Partner – Malta iGaming Network, represented by Glenn Debattista

With these partnerships, the iGaming Legacy Awards has already made meaningful contributions — including donated to local Maltese causes:

• A Domestic Violence Shelter, supporting women in crisis

• The Richmond Foundation, Malta’s leader in mental health advocacy

“This is about more than recognition — it’s about creating platforms for empowerment, conversation, and legacy,” said founder Sarah Micallef. “We’re honoured to bring this vision to the SiGMA stage and connect with others who believe in purpose-driven innovation.”

The iGaming Legacy Awards team will be live at the Startup Village at SiGMA Euro-Med this September, sharing the mission and building new global partnerships.

Micallef said: “Special thanks to SiGMA’s founder, Eman Pulis, who believed in this concept from the very start and supported it through its early stages.”
