“ICE 2018 was the perfect opportunity”
(Exclusive interview).- Amatic Industries talks about ICE Totally Gaming 2018.
Amatic Industries enjoyed a successful attendance during this year’s ICE Totally Gaming at ExCel, London. The company’s stand was one of the busiest at the event, with upcoming projects continuing to expand Amatic’s presence in the international gaming market. Focus Gaming News spoke with Thomas Engstberger, Sales Manager, to discover more about the company’s experience.
What did ICE 2018 mean for Amatic?
ICE 2018 was the perfect opportunity to meet our customers and indeed to welcome all visitors to our stand. This year’s ICE was very special to us as we are celebrating 25 years of innovation during 2018.
We took a larger booth in a better position and created a new stand design to portray just how much we have to offer. ICE was naturally the perfect platform to do just that.
Did the company accomplish all its goals at the event?
Yes, we did. Our main goal was to present our pillars of innovation – Multi Game, gaming machines, electronic roulette and online gaming (AMANET). We are strong in all areas and there was lots of interest shown for all our products. Visitors enjoyed seeing our new games and the new jackpots we offer. This was particularly the case for our mystery hybrid jackpot we offer as a complete jackpot solution for our new game ‘Golden Buddha’ that has a large overhead display, enabling up to eight players at a time to play and try to win the common jackpot.
This year’s ICE was very special to us as we are celebrating 25 years of innovation during 2018.
What was the public’s response to AMATIC’s performance?
Our stand was very busy over the whole three days. Our customers and partners know that they are always welcome and can stay as long on our booth as they wish. It is fair to say that we now have strong divisions in our company as our AMANET online gaming division has grown very strongly in the past year.
What are the next steps for the company?
We will continue doing what we do best – innovating in all company segments. It is worth to mention that we develop all our products completely in-house. This brings about a highly flexible and independent workflow from which our customers profit in the end.
What were the highlights of this year’s edition of ICE?
The whole of ICE was a highlight for us; seeing so many people on our stand throughout all three days shows that we are offering real innovation to the gaming industry. We received positive feedback on the new colours we offer for our Roulette Grand Jeu electronic roulette – with racing yellow and AMATIC blue. The 20 new games, adding to our Multi Game choice, were well received. AMANET continues to grow quickly. And our gaming machines – the Performer Grand Arc slant-top and the AMAROX 24 upright are both in strong demand. All in all, we are very happy with the feedback from the three days at ICE.
