ICE 2016 is a record-breaking event

Enormous marketing campaign, more visitors than ever, unprecedented number of countries and products release because of the occasion are fueling life in the gaming Technopolis.

UK.- ICE Totally Gaming countdown ended and the ribbon was cut. Yesterday the most relevant event for the gaming industry began, featuring all sectors –land-based casinos, online gambling, operators, developers and providers– that make this experience the first step to reach a flawless 2016. The Technopolis opened its door for its citizens, both exhibitors and visitors, people who turn the international industry into a city where everything and everyone is connected.

In ExCel, London, the themed exhibition gather more than 500 companies -129 debutantes- from 62 countries from all continents until Thursday 4. The exciting climate was boosted by the entertainment shows made by the expositors themselves. About 140 journalist from 70 different media are squeezing all the informative juice of this unique event.

In the futuristic Technopolis all citizens are showcasing and learning about what is coming for the next year of innovative revolution. Companies showcase their very latest solutions and equipment, which would turn this year’s industry into another era. As Kate Chambers, Managing Director at Clarion Events –organisers of ICE–, described: “It is a pop-up gaming city where connections are made, where ideas flourish and where conversations are all about the future.”

Since last year’s edition, online gaming industry is going strong and all companies are showing a tendency of leveraging on technology. Conferences were given all day long and today a lot more are expected, whilst the amount of visitors will likely increase as it is usual during day two. Highlighted conferences were about responsible gaming, regulation scheme for legal iGaming –in order to eliminate illegal and grey ones–, for Daily Fantasy Sports and Sport Betting in the US and for emerging jurisdictions. Chosen topics point to the challenges the industry is facing throughout the year. For two days more, the whole Technopolis is all about experiencing and improving the sector while networking and learning at the same time.
