Ho Tram casino expands with airport
The project was approved today by the Ba Ria-Vung Tau People’s Committee.
Vietnam.- Ho Tram Resort Casino, located at Vietnam’s province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau, will be expanded with a unique airport exclusively for travellers of the area. The Ba Ria-Vung Tau People’s Committee approved today the Ho Tram Project Company to build the small airport next to the casino, with the initial investment of US$75 million.
According to the authorities, the permit was granted because the new airport will boost the local economy and meet the tourists demand for transport. The approval of the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Transport is also required to develop an air transport plan for the specialised airport.
The small airport will offer exclusive and immediate transportation to the fully integrated Ho Tram Resort Casino. It is going to be built on a land area of 200 hectares. The investment will be held under the Build Operate Transfer (BOT) model.
