Harrah’s Atlantic City celebrates 45th anniversary
The resort has recognised the team members who have worked at the property since the opening day.
US.- Harrah’s Atlantic City has celebrated its 45th anniversary with a cocktail event at The Pool After Dark. During the celebration, the resort recognised the team members who have worked at the property since the opening day in 1980. Over 1,000 guests took part in the celebration, including customers.

Gregg Klein, senior vice president and general manager of Harrah’s Resort, said: “Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City is more than a destination—it’s a community built on passion, loyalty and hospitality. Our Day One Team Members embody that spirit, and it’s an honor to celebrate them as we look forward to the next chapter in Harrah’s legacy.”
Wendy Peyton, a “day one” team member, added: “We knew we were on the verge of creating an entirely new atmosphere for gaming, entertainment and fine dining. After two weeks of extensive customer service training, our entire Harrah’s family greeted guests who, without us knowing, would become part of our extended family for years to come. Many of them remain loyal to this day.”
