Hard Rock Sioux City inaugurates expansion

The Iowa gambling facility Hard Rock Sioux City revealed the newest US$6.2 million expansion to thousands of fans.

US.- Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City held its grand opening on Friday that inaugurated a US$6.2 million expansion. The ceremony that included a gambling floor expansion included several musicians.

The casino expanded its venue by approximately 8000 square feet, including 60 new slot machines, two blackjack tables, a private lounge and a feature bar called the Wine Bar, with more than 125 labels. Todd Moyer, general manager of Hard Rock Sioux City, said: “Every time I walk into this new space I’m amazed by how beautiful it is. I am proud that we were able to use local contractors and craftsman to build such a great space. The feedback from our guests has been extraordinary.”

The gambling facility the had filed a request to expand its services in 2016 was forced to shut down a section of the facility in April, as it was reported that the gaming floor had suffered an interruption of the information technology system, but there were no news as to why it happened. The other parts of the venue were still open to the public.
