Hard Rock AC to announce grand opening
Executives from the Atlantic City facility will announce the grand opening date next week.
US.- Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City will officially announce its grand opening date next week. Executives from the company will offer a press conference on April 18th in which they will also reveal the entertainment line-up for the event.
According to a statement from the company, there will also be simultaneous press conferences announcing grand opening dates of the resort in Hard Rock Café facilities in New York City and Philadelphia.
The former Trump Taj Mahal was acquired last year by Hard Rock, with intentions of having a grand opening by summer 2018. Executives said that renovations on the building are expected to reach the US$500 million mark.
The entrance to the hotel is set to feature a massive guitar, which will stand 53-feet high. The width of the guitar is 17 feet and 3/4 inches, while the depth is more than four feet. Hard Rock’s logo will be more than eight feet high and approximately 15 feet wide.
Last month, the company also announced the debut of its complementary online social games. While the newest virtual gaming platform will feature known games, they are called “social” as payment is not required to play, and only virtual credits are awarded.
