GCV confirms senior team changes

The company GVC Holdings has announced that it has made some changes to its senior management team.

US.- GVC Holdings has announced that it will implement changes to its senior team in order to change its operational structure. As part of that change, the deputy chief operating officer Valery Gelfman will monitor GVC’s senior product team.

Shay Segev, GVC’s chief operating officer, explained that the restructure of the senior team fine-tunes the company’s operational structure to ensure they are okay for the future and able to continue the delivery of their future growth plans in the most efficient manner. “We have a great team in place and I am excited about our future prospects,” Segev said.

GVC’s chief product officer (CPO) Liron Snir will remain in his position, but will also shift the onus of his role to provide strategy guidance for the product, projects and new partnerships. He will work closely with Nick Batram to support corporate development with new initiatives.

COO Gelfman will be in charge of gaming, platform, sports and retail product divisions of GVC. He will also be responsible for overall product planning of GVC Holdings.

GVC posts online growth

The company posted good results in its online sector, while it also registered double-digit declines in UK retail operations in the second quarter.

The company experienced a 19% decrease in its UK retail performance during the second quarter. Retail also leads to a 10% fall in the first six months if the year. This comes after the introduction of the £2 limit on fixed-odds betting terminals (FOBTs).

GVC’s online gaming and sports betting segments posted growth during the three month period. Online NGR increased 16% in the second water and 17% in the first half of the year, though the latter competed with the FIFA World Cup in 2018.
