GSN Games acquired Plumbee

The United Kingdom-based social casino studio Plumbee, will become GSN’s London studio.

UK.- GSN Games is consolidating its presence in the social casino games business. Last year, the digital cable and satellite television channel acquired Idle Gaming, maker of Fresh Deck Poker and Slots of Fun, for an estimated of US$10 million. According to market analyst Eilers Research, the social casino games business generated US$3.3 billion in revenues only in 2015.

Plumbee is the creator of Mirrorball Slots, an app that has been downloaded over 10 million times on Facebook and mobile devices. The studio is known for creating games for social casino users on social networks and mobile devices.

Steve Brunell, chief operating officer of GSN, stated: “This important acquisition will immediately bolster GSN Games’ ambitious growth plans by leveraging the top talent and social casino expertise of Plumbee to create best-in-class winning experiences for our players.
