Genting grows in Singapore

The gaming company has set an optimistic development in Singapore after great third quarter results.

Singapore.- Gaming operator Genting has achieved positive results during September, specially in the Singapore gaming market. Casino operator Genting Singapore reported a 24 percent increase in net profit for the third quarter of 2017, attributed in part to increased gaming revenues.

“Net profit for the financial period reached S$168.7 million (US$123.7 million), while revenue increased 8 percent to S$629.9 million. EBITDA reached S$276.1 million, an increase of 18 percent, beating estimates,” revealed the report.

Furthermore, major gaming operator Genting has updated its current agreement with sports betting company FSB. The new partnership has been set for a multi-year deal, revealing optimistic results for both operators under the current long-term agreement. Representatives of the international companies have signed the new partnership this week.

FSB will continue to work with Genting and the GentingBet brand on various sports betting-focused initiatives. Genting in 2013 became the first company to take on FSB’s fully-managed sports betting solution.
