Genting gets regulatory approval for Las Vegas’ project

The Nevada Gaming Commission gave green light to Resorts World Las Vegas, a multi-billion-dollar, Asian-themed facility.

US.- Casino operator Genting Malaysia have been granted with regulatory permits for its multi-billion-dollar, Asian-themed Resorts World Las Vegas. The Nevada Gaming Commission gave its approval and now the Malaysian operator can move forward with the projected development.

The mega-resort, initially valued at US$4 billion is expected to start the construction works towards the end of 2016. Resorts World Las Vegas would be the first integrated resort to be built in the sin city in a decade.

The resort would feature 3,100 hotel rooms and a 150,000 square feet casino. The project is expected to be completed and launched in 2019. Genting wants to attract the attention of Chinese players, hence the choice of the Chinese theme for Resorts World Las Vegas.
