Gateway to unveil new casino next week
The Canadian casino will be officially unveiled by the company on September 26.
Canada.- Gateway Casinos and Entertainment has revealed that the transformation of Palace Casino to Starlight Casino Edmonton will be unveiled next Wednesday, September 26. The renovations include the addition of VIP gaming and more restaurants.
The expansion will also feature 120,000 square feet of entertainment space, with 32 gaming tables and an eight-table poker room, as well as 769 slots and VIP gaming. The initial project consisted of a US$57 million construction, and with the new addition Gateway has invested more than US$90 million in the local economy and has created over 550 new jobs.
Tony Santo, Gateway CEO, said: “We are very excited to officially launch the new Starlight Casino Edmonton. It represents Gateway’s largest redevelopment investment in western Canada. I know that Starlight, along with our Grand Villa location at ICE District, will be a significant addition to the entertainment landscape in Edmonton.”
