Gaming in Holland opens registration
Registration for the seventh annual Gaming in Holland Conference is now open.
Netherlands.- Organisers of the seventh annual Gaming in Holland Conference announced that the registration process is now open. The 2018 edition of the GiH Conference, which will take place in Amsterdam in June, will also feature the presentation of the very first Responsibility in Gaming Awards at an exclusive awards dinner.
Highlights
- A detailed follow-up discussion of the Ministry of Justice and Security’s forthcoming Dutch-language information session on the secondary legislation that is to accompany the Dutch remote gaming bill. Special attention will be given to technical and operational requirements.
- Guillermo Olagüe Sánchez, Deputy Head at the Spanish regulator DGOJ, will share his insights on how to establish healthy online, as well as land-based gaming and betting markets.
- A discussion of the recent, high-profile ruling by the Dutch Council of State on the current numbers lottery, instant lottery, and sports betting monopolies.
- A keynote speech by Holland Casino CEO Erwin van Lambaart.
Awards Dinner
To celebrate the achievements of the licensed Dutch gaming industry, the very first Responsibility in Gaming Awards will be presented on June 19th at an exclusive awards dinner.
The Responsibility in Gaming Awards enjoy broad support from the gaming industry and other stakeholders, including the Netherlands Gaming Authority, the European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA), as well as local trade associations VAN Kansspelen and Speel Verantwoord.
“Visitors of the Gaming in Holland Conference are welcome to attend the Responsibility in Gaming Awards Dinner without any additional charge. We also have a limited number of seats available for individual non-conference visitors on a first-come, first-serve basis,” said organisers.
