Gambling zone in Crimea gets ready
The gambling zone in Crimea has been completed and is now waiting for a decision from the government.
Russia.- Andrei Melnikov, minister of economic development of the Crimean zone, revealed that preparations for the gambling zone in the territory have been completed and that the necessary documents have been submitted to the government.
“All the preparatory work has been done by the republic, the documents have been submitted to the government of the Russian Federation for the adoption of the resolution on the creation of the gambling zone and we are now waiting for the appropriate decision,” said the official according to local media.
Moreover, he confirmed that the zone’s operator hasn’t been determined yet, whilst tourist and hotel facilities are set to be created. “We are confident that the gaming zone will become a kind of attraction around which an advanced infrastructure can be built. This is our main task.”
Primorye, another gambling zone in Russia, recently has given the permission to gaming operator CJSC Shambala to build a casino resort in the gaming zone that is located outside Vladivostok. The state owned Development Corporation of the Primorsky Territory said that the four to five stars casino and hotel project would require a minimum investment of US$120 to US$300 million.
