Gambling Commission suspends Stakers licence

Stakers’ must cease offering their services to UK players with immediate effect while the regulator undertakes a review.

UK.- The UK Gambling Commission has suspended the licence of iGaming and sports betting operator Stakers due to a series of compliance breaches.  

The suspension is with immediate effect and means Stakers can no longer offer gambling services via its stakers.com website to players in Great Britain.

The company has also been instructed to facilitate allow its customers to access their accounts and withdraw any funds, and to advise players not to place any bets through the website.

In a media release, the regulator said that it suspects Stakers has breached a condition of its licence and is unsuitable to carry on with licensed activities in the UK.

The regulator has suspended Stakers’ licence pending the conclusion of a full review of its business and processes.
