G2E Las Vegas reports successful first day
The latest edition of the Global Gaming Expo started yesterday in Las Vegas and will continue until Thursday.
US.- Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Las Vegas, one of the biggest events of the industry, started its latest edition yesterday at the Sands Expo & Convention Center. Once again, the level of attendance surpassed the organisers’ expectations and set a great start for the three-day event.
The official G2E Welcome started at 8:45 am at the Special Events Stage with Tim Wilmott, CEO of Penn National Gaming and Chairman of the American Gaming Association (AGA), and was followed by the G2E Opening Keynote led by Jay Baer, President of Convince & Convert Consulting.
Exhibitors told Focus Gaming News that they were happy with the number of attendees at G2E during its first few hours. The difference with other editions of the show was very noticeable, as it prioritised the number of exhibitors on the floor, paving the way for more companies to showcase their products this year.
As expected after the US Supreme Court lifted the federal ban on sports betting, the gambling modality was the main character during the first day of the expo: companies that offer solutions for sports betting businesses were one of the highlights of the exposition floor.
Over 300 exhibitors will gather during the three-day event to feature the latest trends, innovations and technologies in the gaming industry. The best way to navigate the show is through the G2E Mobile App, sponsored by Konami, which gives a personalised product, exhibitor and education recommendations, as well as exhibitor locations and more.
Visitors will be able to experience new products from companies like Merkur Gaming and Greentube, and feature the best novelties from Konami Gaming Inc, Gamesman, BetConstruct, Ortiz Gaming, EGT, TCSJOHNHUXLEY and Alfastreet, among others.
