Foxwoods launches live table gaming platform
The Connecticut facility has launched an international new roulette live-casino product.
US.- Foxwoods Resort Casinos has announced the launch of a new roulette live-casino product to attract European players. However, the company said that they won’t receive any profits from it.
The roulette table will be streamed live from the Newport VIP room to online operators Betsson, Kindred Group, and LeoVegas, as well as supplier SG Digital, The Day reported. The move comes after an agreement with Authentic Gaming in December 2017.
Seth Young, executive director of online gaming at Foxwoods, said: “It’s a great way for us to proliferate our brand internationally. It opens up tourism opportunities for the property. If a customer in Europe or wherever is engaging without table games, perhaps they’ll decide they’d like to visit and experience the property itself.”
As online gaming doesn’t have a clear regulatory framework in place, its legality is questioned, therefore Foxwoods won’t keep any of the revenue from the operations, which will be retained by Betsson, LeoVegas, Kindred Group and SG Digital.
