Fortuna Entertainment has appointed Carlo Di Maio as chief executive of its FEG Romania subsidiary. 

Romania.- Industry veteran Carlo Di Maio has been named as the new chief executive of Fortuna Entertainment’s  FEG Romania subsidiary. 

Di Maio previously served as general manager of Goldbet and Intralot sportsbook divisions for Italy’s Gamenet Group SPA and led multi-market operations for Eurobet under the Gala Coral group. He will oversee FEG Romania’s day-to-day operations and growth strategy. 

Romania is Fortuna’s second-biggest market outside the Czech Republic. It has more than 6,000 staff in the country and a network of 1,500 outlets. 

FEG Romania was formed after Fortuna’s acquisitions of Hattrick Sports and Fortbet Holdings in 2017. It holds the assets of the bookmaker Casa Pariurilor and the Fortbet gaming properties of Bet Zone SRL, Public Slots SRL and Slot Arena SR.
