The content is now available on the Focus Gaming News website and on Spotify.
Focus Gaming News has launched a brand new podcast channel to expand its audience and continue providing the latest news in the gaming industry in a variety of formats.
The first show to be broadcast on this new channel is ‘The Weekend Conversation Corner’, a weekly programme in which hosts Oliver and Charlotte provide an engaging summary of the week’s most important news. Through their relaxed conversation, they ensure that listeners are kept up to date with the key events shaping the industry. New episodes are released every Friday, and the first ones are already available to stream here.
According to research by Statista, the global number of podcast listeners, is expected to surpass 600 million listeners worldwide in 2026, with continued growth predicted further on. Furthermore, the latest analysis from Cumulus Media | Westwood One, based on Edison Research’s The Infinite Dial study, reveals that 52 per cent of 18–34-year-olds listen to podcasts weekly, achieving a similar level of reach to television.
In-depth industry conversations
The second programme on the Focus Gaming News podcast channel is ‘Game Changers’, which features exclusive interviews with some of the most influential figures in the gaming industry. Each episode features leading executives and experts engaging in thoughtful, in-depth discussions, giving listeners privileged access to the people driving change in the world of igaming. The show is already available on the Focus Gaming News website and on Spotify.
Through this new podcast channel, Focus Gaming News is strengthening its commitment to providing the international gaming industry with relevant information, high-quality analysis and innovative content for professionals and enthusiasts.
Fernando Saffores, CEO and founder of Focus Gaming News, said: “This podcast series is a natural evolution for Focus Gaming News. It allows us to connect with our global audience in a more dynamic and accessible way, while continuing to deliver the industry insights that matter most.
“Beyond the headlines, we want to give our partners a voice. This platform creates space for deeper conversations about innovation, regulation, and the future of igaming.”
Victoria Coates, managing director at Focus Gaming News, added: “Launching our podcast series has been a really exciting step for us and something that we have been wanting to do for quite a long time. We are always looking for better ways to connect, to tell stories that really matter, and also to stay ahead in how we deliver content to keep evolving alongside our partners. At Focus Gaming News, we remain committed to deliver high quality, relevant content, and this is just the beginning of what is coming next. We warmly welcome everyone who wants to be part of these conversations.”
The launch of the Focus Gaming News podcast channel follows the introduction of Focus Gaming News Africa in May and forms part of an ongoing expansion strategy that began three years ago with the entry of the media into Brazil. The initiative aims to increase the media group’s reach and further establish its reputation as one of the industry’s most reliable sources of high-quality information, in-depth reports and exclusive interviews.
