FantasyHub suspends operations

Since its launching in 2014, the site has raised over US$200,000 for charity through fantasy sports contests.

The Daily Fantasy Sports operator’s services have been “temporarily” suspended and players cannot access their accounts nor dispose of their funds.

US.-  FantasyHub, the daily fantasy sports (DFS) operator, posted a message on its website on February 19th saying that due to “discussions with a strategic third party regarding the future of FantasyHub and its players,” the service will be unavailable.

Later, FantasyHub sent an e-mail to its users explaining that “due to advice from counsel, we cannot divulge many details but we have been in discussions with a strategic third party regarding the company and are now finalising those discussion.”

The operators stated it couldn’t give any additional details at “this time,” and promised to contact its customers touch “very soon with full information.”
