FanDuel officially launches sportsbook app

The app has ended its trial period and is now available in New Jersey.

US.- FanDuel has officially launched its ‘FanDuel Sportsbook’ app in New Jersey. The company had launched its app for a short period of time and later obtained the full permission from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE).

While the app is only available to sports fans in New Jersey, the company expects to continue to roll out its services to new states once they come up with new regulatory schemes that will allow them to offer such services. The DFS operator is now emerging in the new sports betting market, which was approved in May after the US Supreme Court lifted the federal ban on sports betting, allowing states to legalise the gambling modality if they so desired.

Matt King, CEO of FanDuel Group, said: “We’re leveraging our experiences building the sportsbook at the Meadowlands and the global footprint of Paddy Power Betfair to build an online sports betting experience that fans want, love, and can rely on.”
