FanDuel announces new appointment
The company has created a new role of Chief People Officer to develop its global people strategy.
US.- FanDuel Group has announced that Lainie Cooney is joining the company in the newly role of Chief People Officer. Cooney will lead the development and execution of the company’s global people strategy, reporting to FanDuel Group CEO Matt King.
Cooney became the official first Chief People Officer on Monday. She has more than 25 years of experience designing and executing human resource strategies across geographically dispersed organisations. She has a focus on operational excellence, change management, talent acquisition, and performance management.
“Lainie brings a passion for our business and a wealth of experience we can benefit from, and I am excited to add her to the senior leadership team,” said Matt King, Chief Executive Officer, FanDuel. The CEO added that Lainie’s expertise is invaluable as the company continues with its global growth.
