The Malta office will host staff working on Esports Technologies’ European igaming operations.
Malta.- Esports Technologies Inc has announced the opening of its Malta office as it seeks to expand its igaming operations in Europe. The company said the office would be fully operational from November 15.
Most of Esports Technologies staff that directly work on its European igaming operations will be based out of the office, which will have close contact with the company’s technology hub in Dublin.
The company, which floated on the Global Nasdaq Exchange last April, aims to enter regulated markets including the UK, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Spain and the newly opened Netherlands market.
It said: “This move will help accelerate the company’s growth strategy in Europe, which has an estimated esports audience of 92 million.”
Group CEO Aaron Speach said: “Europe’s esports engagement is on a steep growth trajectory, and we foresee tremendous growth in its esports wagering market.
“With its educated and talented workforce, strong tech infrastructure, and business-friendly environment, Malta offers the ideal location for us to create new opportunities across Europe. We look forward to providing a work setting designed to foster meaningful collaboration, increase productivity and spark creativity.”
